Touch Screen Controllers
A touch screen controller is a semiconductor device that converts user actions on the screen into signals that the device can read. This device is designed to detect touch sensor input on an LCD. The controller interfaces data between the processing system and the touch screen elements associated with the display, typically in SPI or I2C serial formats. Products using touch screen controllers include mobile phones, touch screen monitors, portable instruments and tablets.
